Piracy

Over the years our picture of protection concepts and phrases has become clearer. Roger Mester's first article " All About Copy Protection" has become very popular as a good basic introduction to the subject. See for instance "Internet Scout Project".

Roger's next article covers protection of data files "Data Protection in a Nutshell".

"Security Intrusion" gives an overview of the various terms and building blocks.

We have now added a new article, "The Piracy Challenge" published in Macmillan's MED Magazine. Piracy and the art of making copy protection are described in simple terms.
